Pest ID

Chelmsford, Essex

Pest ID acquired another pest control business comprising four brands. The owner Ian Bright asked me to convert the four new websites to WordPress, bringing the design in line with Pest ID’s own branding. Essex Wasp Control was the first of these, followed by Essex Pest Control.

The project brief for each of the websites was:

  • a mobile-friendly design to increase the number of leads
  • branding to complement the existing Pest ID branding, with the exception of Essex Wasp Control, which was to keep the yellow and black ‘wasp colours’
  • SEO-ready so that the Pest ID marketing team could manage and maintain the website content
  • fast page load times

Phoebe asked me to build a website so that she could extend the pantry’s online presence beyond social media, and also promote her celebration cake and event catering businesses.  The project brief included:

  • designing a responsive website with a look and feel to incorporate the pantry’s pink and blue branding
  • showing the pantry’s Facebook and Instagram feeds on the home page
  • promoting the pantry’s other activities – celebration cakes and event catering
  • page copy optimised for SEO
  • SEO implementation: keyword research and set up of Google Anaytics
  • ongoing care plan

  • contact information and map
  • search engine optimisation (SEO)
  • ongoing care plan
